About me
For as long as I can remember I have been drawing and painting. After graduating from high school in art and art history in Germany, painting remained my hobby and my passion. At first I painted mainly in acrylic in the so-called “grisaille technique”, which uses all shades of gray and white. Over the years, more and more colors have been added
PEOPLE
The theme of my art has remained the same, namely human (predominantly female) faces and bodies, based on fashion photography and advertising as a source of inspiration.
Finally, I discovered fashion illustration for myself, which combines the colorful world of fashion with art.
technology
In my works I use a wide variety of media, for example watercolours, markers, acrylic or pastel colours. I recently discovered digital drawing for myself, drawing on an iPad. So-called NFTs are created, which are available digitally and as prints.
style
Each medium used has its very own effect on the viewer. However, the style always remains the same: expressive, strong (brush) strokes that combine to form an expressive figure, my own interpretation of the illustrious world of fashion
